Follow-up appointments start from £60 for 30 minutes and £100 for 45 minutes+. We offer discounts for packages of 2+ appointments. Your Dietitian can guide you on the number of appointments needed. This can also be arranged after your first appointment.
Upon booking, you will be charged for the appointment.

The Children’s Dietitian Ltd accepts patients registered with Cigna and Healix Health Services. Unfortunately at this time, we are not registered with other insurance companies, although this is subject to change.
-
We support babies from birth to children up to the age of 16 years.
-
The team at The Children’s Dietitian always love to meet the children we are supporting! That said, we know that as parents you may want some quieter time to discuss your concerns and space to talk. We can advise you before your appointment about whether your child needs to be there.
-
Before your appointment, you’ll be asked to complete a pre-assessment form, a three-day food diary (as needed) and in some circumstances provide some mealtime videos. These are sent to you at the time of booking.
It can be very helpful to bring your child’s red book, or any recent growth measurements to their appointment too.
If you have any hospital or medical letters, or test results please feel free to provide this prior to or at your appointment as they can be helpful.
-
All the Dietitians working for The Children’s Dietitian have extensive experience in Paediatrics and further training or experience in their specific specialist areas e.g. food allergy, food refusal, gastroenterology
You can have the choice of whom you’d like to see, and we can advise further depending on your child’s needs too.
-
The team require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged at 100% of the consultation fee. Non-attended appointments will be charged at the full rate.
Pre-booked appointments can be re-arranged, ideally with 48 hours’ notice. We will always endeavour to rebook your appointment as soon as possible, but this will depend on the clinician’s availability
We understand that there may be good reasons to have to move or cancel your appointment. Children can get unwell quickly, and parents are often busy juggling many commitments. Please contact us as soon as possible in the event of needing to cancel or not attend.
